Mustard TV broadcasts Jamie’s Game 2016

Posted on

Celebrity football match Jamie’s Game returned to Carrow Road earlier this month as two teams of famous football fans raised money for the Community Sports Foundation.

For the first time, Mustard TV (in association with Pleasurewood Hills, the CSF and Sellebrity Auctions) were able to broadcast the full match plus celebrity interviews and analysis - providing top quality, relevant content for their audience.

More than 7,700 people attended the match, which saw Jim Chapman’s XI beat Calum Best’s XI 6-4 – with the game’s namesake Jamie Abbott coming onto the pitch to score a penalty for the winning side.

The match is part of the Sporting Light Appeal, which raises money for the Community Sports Foundation and uses sport to improve the quality of life for those who need it most across Norfolk.

CSF helps disadvantaged people and those with disabilities to experience the benefits of sport, and the Sporting Light Appeal allows CSF to make a difference to the lives of the people and families of those it helps.

Named after CSF Junior Ambassador Jamie Abbott, who led the original match in 2013, Jamie’s Game has since raised over £200,000 for the foundation.

The full game will be available to watch on the Mustard TV website until 8th June - click here to view
