Archant celebrates employee achievements at the Archant Awards 2016

On Thursday 21 January, Archant hosted their annual Archant Awards evening - celebrating the extraordinary range of talent and innovation which had come from their employees during 2015.

The Awards, which were held near the company’s headquarters in Norwich, were attended by over 240 finalists and colleagues from around the business who had been recognised for their achievements and successes.

Chief Executive Jeff Henry welcomed the evening’s guests to the ‘new look’ Awards night saying “Tonight is a special evening for me…it enables me to celebrate with you the talent we have within Archant and the successes you have achieved over the past year.”

In total over 500 entries were received from across the company for the Archant Awards 2016 – making judging difficult for the Archant Leadership Team.

Awards on the evening ranged from Contribution to Client Success and Innovation of the Year – to categories recognising the excellence of individuals and teams including Manager of the Year and Team of the Year.

Innovation of the Year (Product or Service) – The Graphics Unit

Innovation of the Year (Process) – New Design Team

Campaign of the Year (Marketing) – Winback 2015

Campaign of the Year (Editorial) – Eastern Daily Press (Surviving Winter)

Best Content of the Year – Weston Mercury (Dismaland Coverage)

Customer Focused Person of the Year – Michelle Patrick

Support Person of the Year – Lynn Bartlett

Manager of the Year – Debbie Macleod

Team of the Year – Circulation

STAR of the Year – Zoe Francis

Archie of the Year – Lorna Willis

Dee Willmott, Chief HR and Development Officer (and sponsor of the Awards), commented: “The Archant Awards provide a wonderful opportunity to focus on and celebrate the extraordinary achievements and excellence of our colleagues from every function across the business.
