We are a vibrant, forward-thinking media business with an ever-expanding portfolio of print and digital marketing solutions that include Facebook and Google. We are recruiting for a Sales Manager who will bring fresh ideas and really make this role their own and will inspire and drive the advertising sales team to ongoing success.

A successful sales manager in Archant looks like this. They have great people-management skills, they are hands-on working with the team to achieve results. They coach, encourage and motivate – they recruit brilliant team members and manage each individual individually!

This team’s aim is to offer the right multi-platform campaigns such as print or digital display advertising, programmatic display, mobile websites, apps, e-newsletters and social media and therefore ideally you will need to be well versed in all or some of these print/digital arenas.

We will ensure that you have all the data you need to understand the large revenue stream you will have responsibility for. So the need to be financially adept at understanding these accounting lines and reporting targets, forecasts, budgets and plans with the ability to deliver this in bite-sized pieces for your individual team members is paramount to the success of this opportunity.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • Experience of driving teams to achieve set targets in B2B environment
  • Ability to understand the financials and set targets & report against forecasts
  • Ideally sound digital advertising/marketing knowledge
  • Media, marketing & communications or advertising background ideally
  • Ability to influence, persuade and engage many other internal stakeholders
  • Strong coaching, mentoring and dual calling experience
  • Ability to manage phone-based teams

  • Basic starting salary of up to £35,000 + car allowance
  • Achievable monthly commission structure and on-target earnings of £14,400 per annum
