Archant are one of the UK's largest independently owned regional media businesses publishing a major portfolio of daily and weekly regional newspapers, magazines and websites. Using a full range of print and digital products we deliver captivating and relevant content aimed at retaining and developing readers to provide our clients with creative media solutions for all their business needs.

We are committed to maintaining and improving newspaper copy sales of our publications in Norfolk including the award-winning Eastern Daily Press. To support our plans we are looking to appoint a Circulation Manager.

Reporting to the Circulation Director (Archant), this sales-focused role is responsible for ensuring that all opportunities to sell our publications are maximised every day. To achieve this you will work closely with Content, Commercial and Marketing colleagues promoting all relevant content for each publication. This “hands-on” role means that the successful applicant will spend 50% of their time in the field managing a team of four merchandisers whilst also merchandising their own, smaller, territory.

The successful candidate will have a track record in field sales and demonstrate leadership qualities to ensure targets are achieved. An ability to work in a fast-moving environment is also essential. Management experience is required along with an enthusiastic, committed, positive and determined attitude.

This position is based at Prospect House in Norwich.

In return we offer a competitive salary of up to £30,000 per annum. Other benefits include five weeks annual leave and a contributory pension and life assurance scheme (after qualifying period). A wide range of voluntary benefits include a Cycle to Work scheme, contributory private health scheme and Archant Gold (charity matched funding). Ongoing training and coaching is provided throughout your employment with Archant and we have a subsidised canteen.

If you are interested in becoming part of our plans and ongoing success please complete an application form and send this to with a copy of your CV.
