Canal Boat magazine is the UK’s number 1 canal boat magazine and has built its reputation for over 20 years. It’s a fantastic platform for any business looking to reach the active boating market. Its sister magazine the Tillergraph is a free publication that reaches new entrants into the market and liveaboard boaters.

Canal Boat has one of the strongest and most varied classified sections in the boating sector, and is therefore a paramount resource for boat owners and enthusiasts to find what they need and where to get it. With our two magazines, website, e-newsletters, apps and one-off publications we reach over 50,000 boating enthusiasts every month.

We are currently recruiting for an Account Manager to sell print and digital advertising solutions into this sector throughout the UK. Your customer base will be a mixture of existing, lapsed and new businesses that you are calling from our offices; you can be based at either Cheltenham or Weston super Mare.

Once you have sold the right advertising option you will then liaise with your customer to gain the right copy, upload to the system and book and place the adverts as specified. Digital advertising will give you the ability to feed back stats and data to your advertiser in order that they understand the value of their campaigns.

Although the majority of contact is made over the phone there will be opportunities to attend relevant exhibitions and shows throughout the year in order to meet clients, maximize sales connections and to be an ambassador for the portfolio.
