Sub-Editor – Archant London

AN opportunity has arisen for a sub-editor to join The Newham Recorder and Stratford Express series.

The role involves subbing, reporting, page design and covering what is one of the most vibrant, exciting and successful places to live and work in the UK.

The successful candidate should have a strong journalistic background – ideally industry qualified – and be able to sub a wide range of news and features.

The nature of the post will necessitate strong writing and design skills, and he/she should also be a good organiser.

Experience of QuarkXpress and basic Adobe Photoshop is required, along with a keen interest in what is happening in this soon-to-be transformed corner of east London.
