Archant app success continues with launches on Google Play
Following on from a successful roll-out onto the Apple App Store during 2012, Archant Lifestyle has now launched its magazine titles onto the Google Play Store.
“Expanding onto the Android platform increases the reach for our digital products for 2013 and gives us a great opportunity to expand our audience and increase digital revenues,” said Digital Magazines Manager, Chris Scarle.
“Having now completed the roll out onto this new platform, the main focus is to increase the popularity of the apps, therefore moving them higher up the rankings, increasing their exposure to users and generating further downloads and sales.
“The portfolio of Lifestyle magazine apps are free to download on both platforms so no cost is involved and each app gives you a full free sample issue of the magazine to read.”
Titles include Sport Diver, Pilot, Photography Monthly, Sporting Shooter, Canal Boat, English Garden, English Home, France, Country Smallholding, plus around 30 county magazines including Cotswold Life, Cheshire Life and Devon Life.
