Last weekend more than 4,000 visitors descended on Exeter for the biggest and best Bride: The Wedding Show held at Westpoint Arena.
A record number of brides and their bridal parties travelled to Westpoint Arena for an unforgettable day of wedding planning.
The show, now in its seventh year, continues to be a popular event for brides in the South West who are searching for the inspiration and information to make their wedding dreams a reality.
More than 170 exhibitors – all local to the region – showcased their services at the two-day event. Bridalwear and groomswear suppliers, venues, cakemakers, florists, photographers, stationers, jewellers and more turned out in force to guide and advise brides on building their perfect day.
A returning exhibitor, Debbie Vanstone of Mad Cakes was similarly thrilled by the response:
“Once again Bride: The Wedding Show was so well organised. We experienced lots of crowds around our stand and lots of positive feedback. Social media was great too, with all of our tweets being retweeted by the organisers.”
Entertainment was on offer throughout the day from a range of talented musical performers, who took to the stage in the café. Show-goers were also invited to watch the catwalk show, held three times each day and featuring designs from Moss Bros, Sassi Holford, Youngs Hire, Te Amo Brides and John Lewis – to name a few.
Karen Friend of Tiverton, Devon, who gets married in June, 2017, was at the show with three friends:
"The show has been great - we watched the catwalk together and it was really good fun.”
Bride: The Wedding Show returns to Westpoint Arena on March 25-26. Find out more at www.theweddingshow.co.uk.
