Last weekend, Bride: The Wedding Show at Tatton Park celebrated its 15th year with an extra special weekend of wedding planning.
The majestic Tatton Park in Knutsford, Cheshire provided a spectacular backdrop for the 15th edition of Bride: The Wedding Show.
Brides and grooms-to-be, accompanied by their friends and families, were treated to a stunning showcase of wedding ideas and inspiration during the two-day event.
The well-established show received more than 5,000 visitors in total including Coronation Street star Tina O'Brien, who is planning her wedding to fiancé, Adam Crofts.
Over one hundred and fifty local wedding suppliers joined together to treat attendees to a range of bridal delights. From dresses, stationery and venues - to cakes, transport and photographers, there was something for everyone at the show! Excitement was peaked by the fully dressed tipi from Tipi Unique and the lavish marquee area from Mahood Marquees.
Tony Fanning, Owner of Tony Fanning Photography, said “As a first time exhibitor I was expecting great things, but I was taken aback by the sheer number of visitors and quality bookings I received. The show was well organised, looked fantastic and I look forward to returning next year.”
Echoing these sentiments, Karen Thorp-Cleaver, Director of Tipi Unique, said “We were blown away by the volume of people visiting the show. Couples were definitely keen to chat and book. We were overwhelmed by the passion, love and excitement that couples felt for our tipi at the show. A really fun, positive and worthwhile experience. We couldn’t ask for more.”
Couples enjoyed musical entertainment from a variety of performers on the band stage, plus the spectacular choreographed catwalk show – considered the best in the business. The catwalk featured bridal gowns and bridesmaids’ dresses as well as menswear from Knutsford Wedding Gallery, Maria Modes, J & J Designs, Slaters, Cheshire Bridal Wear and 7th Heaven Bridal.
Visitors were invited to enter a multitude of amazing competitions from the show’s exhibitors, take advantage of show-exclusive offers and collect complimentary copies of Cheshire Bride magazine. When all the shopping was complete attendees could relax in the dining area supplied by Fine Dining Company or treat themselves to a glass of fizz at The Prosecco Pot.
Jenny Appleton, a bride-to-be who is getting married in Liverpool in March 2018, said “I came to get ideas. The show was great; really well organised. The catwalk was brilliant. I actually tried on a dress for the first time, so I’ve got even more of an idea about styles now.”
