Earlier this month, Archant’s broadcasting arm Mustard TV gave thousands of students the chance to learn the ropes of presentation at the annual Suffolk Skills Show.
The event saw East Anglia’s leading organisations come together to offer an insight into the world of work, whilst providing Mustard with the opportunity to promote its video production services in a new territory.
Students were teamed up into a crew - with a director, a presenter and a clapperboard operator.
The workshops became a real head turner and, as Archant's Trade Marketing Director Tom Kay explains, the project helped promote Archant as a true multi-platform organisation:
“We wanted to do something different this year that would really get us noticed in front of a large B2B audience.
For many influential businesses who exhibit at the event, this was the first time they’ve seen, first hand, some of the exciting new services we offer, opening up many new conversations”.
“It was also a great way to create talkability in the local market - the youngsters did an amazing job in front of the camera – some seriously impressive performances.”
