08.10.08 Buckinghamshire Life
Archant Life has launched a new glossy county magazine, Buckinghamshire Life.
The first 100-page summer ’08 issue is packed with fascinating articles about the people, places, restaurants, visitor attractions, competitions, and events from around the county.
The new title, edited by Clare Bourke, is being sold and distributed throughout Buckinghamshire via major outlets and promotional sampling. It has also been extensively promoted within Archant’s other south east county magazine titles.
Publisher Robyn Bechelet said: “Buckinghamshire Life is for discerning, wealthy and intelligent readers who have a high disposable income.”
The first edition includes a Who’s Who 2008 feature, revealing 50 of the county’s top achievers, summer garden party fashions, local features, 28 great summer days out, idyllic picnic spots, and a county-wide premium events guide. Two further editions are planned for this year covering autumn and Christmas.
Editor Clare Bourke said: “We have been amazed by the excellent response to the new Buckinghamshire Life. As a Bucks resident myself, I knew there was a ready and waiting audience for a new magazine in the county but the high level of response and congratulation has still surprised me. The magazine has been extremely well received and we are already getting good reports on copy sales.”
