We have a fantastic opportunity for a numerate, business-focused person to join our talented procurement team.
This role is at the very heart of our organisation and offers opportunities to learn and develop. You will work with all areas of the Archant business and undertake procurement activities which will bring performance benefits and reduce costs, particularly in relation to the management of group-wide contracts and supplier relationships.
The role will grow as you develop and gain experience, and you will have a high degree of autonomy for your own project areas and decisions. You will input to procurement best practice procedures and processes, maintain a contract management system, regularly manage contracts with our suppliers and learn about commercial negotiation strategy and tactics.
The ideal candidate will fit the following criteria:
This role would suit someone with previous procurement experience or the potential to develop a career in procurement. The successful candidate will have up to 2 years professional work experience and be able to demonstrate commercial and business acumen.
