John Fry, 51, joined the Board as Chief Executive in May 2002.
John was previously Chief Executive of Misys International
Banking Systems, a supplier of software systems to the banking
industry. On graduating from Cambridge he started his career
with Procter & Gamble, working in Belgium, Germany and
Italy. After completing an MBA at INSEAD, he joined Bain &
Company as a strategy consultant, before moving to Dun &
Bradstreet, where he held a number of positions, including
that of President of its European operations.
John is a non-executive director of James Southall & Company
Limited, producer of Start-rite childrens shoes

Adrian Jeakings, 49, joined the Board as Finance Director
in October 2002.
Adrian is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management
Accountants and was previously Group Finance Director of The
Stationery Office, a provider of information management services
to the Government and industry.
He is a graduate of Imperial College, London and worked briefly
as an engineer before training as an accountant at BICC plc.
After qualifying, he joined the instrumentation division of
Schlumberger, where he was Finance Director of a number of
business units based in France. Before joining The Stationery
Office he was Director Finance Europe for Dun &
Bradstreet Inc.
Adrian is a governor of Norwich School and a member of the
Audit Committee of the University of East Anglia.

John Ellison was appointed Company Secretary of ECNG in February
1996, having previously been Finance Director of Paper Chain
(East Anglia) Limited, ECNG’s then retail subsidiary,
until its disposal that year.

Ian Davies is Director of Business Development for Archant
and is responsible for the development of corporate activity
and mergers and acquisitions. He has worked for various parts
of the Archant operation since 1990 and has previously held
responsibilities in market research, in marketing, and as
Managing Director of the commercial radio investment subsidiary. Prior
to joining Archant Ian worked as a journalist, radio presenter/producer,
and television news reader.
